Ending World War I unit, concluding the Constitution Unit, and Field Trips

This week is certainly going to be an important one. The 8th graders finish World War I while the 7th graders finish the Constitution. It is here where I think that we will see things really accelerate as the conclusion of both units brings out an exam with one group and a World War I primary source assessment with another.
For all students, please know that All Extra Credit Quotations and Website/ Video Extra credit will be closed as of 2.21 at 6:00 PM. Time is running out, and I can only hope that students intellectually "run" to keep up with it.

Monday: Read Yeats’ “The Second Coming.” Annotate for meaning and for overall purpose.	HW: Finish annotations of Yeats’ poem.
Tuesday: Day for Debs: Annotate “Statement to the Court” by Debs. Annotate “Speech from Canton, Ohio” by Debs.	HW: Annotations of student selected primary source due tomorrow.
Wednesday: Introduce e.e. cummings and read “next to of course god America”	HW: Think about which primary source you “got” the most. If you like, start reading another one that has not been read in class.
Thursday: Introduce/ Work on enrichment sheet.	HW: Enrichment sheet due Tuesday at 9:00 AM.
